Happy New Year! This is my favorite time of the year. Starting fresh with a new perspective, I jot down my resolutions for this year. Did I accomplish my resolutions for last year? Well, if you’re talking about the defined four pack, then no. 2012 was unforgettable. I did my fair share of traveling and managed to eat my way almost around the world. 2013 is going to be even better. More food, more posts, and less likely on that four pack.
A great ending to 2012 was celebrated with friends at NBC Seafood. All the way in Monterey Park, this goliath of a Chinese restaurant is known for their dim sum, large ballroom, and fresh seafood. A private dining room, a bottle of Johnny Walker Blue, a Merlot, and a few whites, we were happy campers.
I have no clue what to order when it comes to authentic Chinese food. This is why they have pictures for us ordinary folk. Well, here’s the scoop. Bring a Chinese friend to dinner and you’re in the clear! Look at our treasures.
Look at that beautiful lazy Susan. We have a plethora of lobster, chicken, fish, and steak. Name them? Impossible.

A very Chinese lazy Susan.

The plate says everything about you. This says, I’m a glutton.

A new year celebration isn’t quite the same without some bubbly.
Besides the vain resolutions, I hope to bring more adventurous food porn to Never Been Full. Less four packs, more muffin tops. Thank you for envying my food porn and reading my rants. Happy New Year gluttons!
